Use to top various vegetable bakes. Cauliflower cooked in a tomato sauce is one of the best. Leeks are also very good.
Savoury Oat Crumble Topping
Ingredients for 2 portions
For the risotto:
100g Honest-Oats' Super Jumbo Organic Gluten Free Oats
50g Honest-Oats' Organic Gluten Free Four
Half teaspoon salt
100g strong cheddar grated
50g butter melted
In a mixing bowl combine the oats and the oat flour and salt.
Fork in the grated cheese and put in the melted butter.
Mix to a rough crumbly consistency.
Cook the veg first until just tender then sprinkle the crumble on top and bake in a 180 oven (I use a Raeburn and I am not used to precise temperatures, so hot but not roasting hot) for about 30 minutes.
