Premium Porridge Breakfast

Super nutritious breakfast with lots of fibre, protein, omegas, antioxidants and iron among other important nutrients.

Premium Porridge Breakfast


Ingredients for 1 portion

  • 50g Honest-Oats' Organic Gluten Free Porridge Oats

  • 20g Honest-Oats' Organic Gluten Free Bran

  • 5g chia seeds

  • 5g ground flax seeds (you could use whole flax (cheaper and LFC have this in stock), but ground is more easily digested, and the benefits more easily taken by the body, LFC will be able to source this for you but it may be more costly)

  • ½ tsp ground Ceylon Cinnamon (Ceylon is preferable and could be noted specifically on the ingredients if you use it due to it’s noted superiority, but if you are stuck on cost, you can use Cassia) (Cinnamon could be optional or you could do a product with and one without).

  • To garnish, add crumbled walnuts and chopped dried apricots


Cooking method


Again, this takes quite a lot of milk, 300ml or more, and you need to stir all the time.


It took about 15 mins to cook on a medium to high heat. Great texture and flavour, added health benefits with the seeds and cinnamon. Makes a fantastic breakfast.
